The Communications & Outreach team within the Constituent Programs group fosters collaborative fundraising and a donor-centered culture of philanthropy at UC Berkeley through full-service internal communications and community building across the campus advancement enterprise.
What We Do
Internal Communications
- Eureka: Produce and maintain the advancement intranet as the online hub for the advancement community where staff can share best practices, get tools and support, and network
- UC Berkeley advancement news: Produce biweekly e-newsletter aimed at delivering timely, relevant, mission-critical information to the advancement community
- Community building: Enhance collaboration, coordination, and communication across the advancement community through meetings of communities of practice and networking events
- Strategic internal communications: Partner with UDAR fundraising and service units to communicate with the campus advancement community about new initiatives, policies, and opportunities for collaboration
- Campaign: Ensure that advancement staff have the necessary information and tools to participate fully in the university’s capital campaign
Campus Constituent Support
- College of Letters & Science (L&S): Provide comprehensive advancement services to L&S, including stewardship, donor engagement, volunteer management, and communications
- Other campus clients: Deliver focused, strategic support on a temporary basis for campus advancement units
