Carolyn Iyoya Irving (she/her/hers) is the Executive Director of Communications & Outreach/L&S Engagement in the Constituent Programs group within University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) at the University of California, Berkeley.
The Constituent Programs Group works with deans, directors, and development leaders across campus and includes strategy setting, building philanthropic culture and community, optimizing organizational performance, and reaching philanthropic goals.
Carolyn directs internal communications and advancement support services for campus units. The team is responsible for advancement community building through communications and resources, such as the Eureka intranet, Advancement News Brief, and meetings of communities of practice. Carolyn also manages UDAR advancement support for the College of Letters & Science (L&S).
