Big Give
Our online fundraising tradition began in 2014, giving you and the entire Cal community, which includes alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends the opportunity to support your favorite schools and programs.
Founders' Pledge
The Berkeley Founders’ Pledge is an opportunity for company founders, equity holders or investors to make a nonbinding commitment to give back to Cal.
Homecoming
Alumni and Parents weekend at homecoming is UC Berkeley's largest annual gathering for thousands of alums, parents and families to come together for three days of fun.
SED
Student Experience and Diversity (SED) helps ensure that UC Berkeley is a place where students from all backgrounds can thrive.
The UC Berkeley Foundation
The UC Berkeley Foundation (UCBF) supports and advances the mission of UC Berkeley by encouraging private philanthropy.
Berkeley Loyal
Berkeley Loyal is a giving society that honors donors who have made gifts to UC Berkeley in consecutive fiscal years (July 1–June 30). Donors who have made gifts in each of the three most recent fiscal years, as well as current Cal parents and students who have made gifts in each of the two most recent fiscal years, become members of Berkeley Loyal.
Commencement
UC Berkeley commencement is an exciting time for families, students and friends. Our graduation ceremonies for graduating students happen in May and December each year.
FRCP
Foundation Relations & Corporate Philanthropy (FRCP) supports private foundations and corporate donors who seek assistance navigating research opportunities, programs and communities at UC Berkeley.
Light the Way: The Campaign for Berkeley
The campaign launched publicly on February 29, 2020, and aims to raise $6 billion by the end of 2023.
The Cal Fund
Helps the UC Berkeley community by retaining excellence in teaching, research, and public service by supporting students and faculty across the campus.
Builders of Berkeley
Honoring Berkeley's greatest benefactors, the Builders of UC Berkeley are donors who have given $1 million or more to the campus.
Discover Cal
Discover Cal is a lecture series that brings UC Berkeley’s distinguished faculty to the extended Cal family for compelling lectures in an informal setting. Alums, parents and friends are welcome to join members of the Charter Hill Society at Discover Cal events.

Office of Gift Planning
OGP helps alumni, friends, and supporters make planned gifts that fit your philanthropic, financial and estate planning goals.
The Charter Hill Society
A special philanthropic membership that recognizes donors for their annual gifts of giving to the UC Berkeley, totaling $1,000 or more.
