Loraine Binion (she/her/hers) is the Executive Director of the Finance and Administration (F&A) unit in Advancement Operations in the University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) department at the University of California, Berkeley.
Loraine also serves as Treasurer of the UC Berkeley Foundation and Treasurer of the UC Berkeley Endowment Management Company, the investment management company for the UC Berkeley endowment. The F&A functional unit consists of the following groups: Gift and Investment Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Facility Services and Administration.
In addition to managing the activities of F&A and serving as Treasurer of the two other organizations, Loraine is active helping with the development of alternative philanthropic investment vehicles to benefit the campus. Before coming to UC Berkeley, Loraine held several senior finance positions, including 18 years at Levi Strauss & Co.
