Leslie Schibsted

Leslie Schibsted (she/her/hers), CFRE, is the Campaign Director of Campaign Planning and Board of Visitors in the University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) department at the University of California, Berkeley.

The Campaign Planning and Board of Visitors is responsible for the $6B Light the Way Campaign and provides leadership to the campaign team, which manages and tracks priorities and strategies, provides data analysis and recommendations, and staffs the Board of Visitors and National Campaign Steering Committee.

Leslie is a Cal alum and has deep roots in the East Bay, as her father was born and raised in Oakland’s Laurel District. She has two grown children, Drew and Allie, and one fur baby, Coby, and journeys through life with her spouse, Steve. Leslie loves to hike, cook and read when she has the chance.

Leslie is passionate about making a difference in her community and has held leadership roles at numerous nonprofit organizations. She is currently a board member of the YMCA of the East Bay and the Los Gatos High School Alumni Association.
