Glen Chang (he/him/his) serves as Senior Director of Gift and Investment Accounting within the Advancement Operations in the University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) department at the University of California, Berkeley.
Gift and Investment Accounting (CIA) is responsible for the accurate and timely financial accounting of all charitable gifts given in support of UC Berkeley to The Regents of the University of California or the UC Berkeley Foundation. GIA provides services to the entire campus community in conjunction with general accounting; ensures compliance with applicable accounting and investment policies and generally accepted principles as stated under the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB); and maintains a separate ledger for the UC Berkeley Foundation, which must issue separately audited financial statements annually.
