Each year more than 60,000 alumni, parents, students, and friends contribute to the teaching, research, public service, and athletics programs at UC Berkeley. Annual Programs is the campuswide fundraising office that reaches out to these donors and volunteers for support. Our mission is to maximize annual donations from alumni, students, parents, and friends in support of the students, faculty, and research at UC Berkeley.
What We Do
We offer the following philanthropic and engagement opportunities for alumni, students, parents, and friends:
- Annual Giving. We raise annual unrestricted support for the Chancellor, the schools/colleges and other campus programs.
- Class Campaigns. We plan class reunion campaigns for the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th, 55th and 60th reunion campaigns and work with alumni volunteer committees to support these campaigns.
- Senior Class Gift Campaign. We engage undergraduate students in a year-long fundraising campaign, teaching them best practices in fundraising and provide support for this campaign.
- Cal Parents. We provide families of current and past students the opportunity for meaningful engagement with the university through a variety of philanthropic initiatives and volunteer activities.
